The market share database analysis is conducted within the client's primary and secondary market. The analysis is conducted via a telephone interview in which the respondent completes a detailed survey that yields information that is statistically significant. All data is proprietary information and is owned by the client. The raw data is immediately loaded into a query database, providing the client with immediate and unlimited real-time access.

The goals of such research projects are:

  • To assess the image and the market share position of the client hospital, as well as its' competing hospitals
  • To compare and contrast the community's responses relative to the:
    - quality of healthcare services provided by the client
    - quality of healthcare services provided by competing healthcare facilities
    - quality of healthcare services provided by the physician staff
    - reputation of the healthcare facility
  • To compare and contrast the abovementioned responses relative to the respondents who have specifically used the services of a healthcare facility during the previous two years
  • To determine the perceived need for additional healthcare services
  • To identify barriers to respondents receiving needed healthcare services
